Shimla is one of my favourite places in the hills. It’s cool, full of green trees, and has pretty views everywhere. But there’s something there that makes it even more exciting. So, whether you’re staying close by or far away, getting there is simple. You don’t have to worry about finding it.

The History of Jakhu Ropeway Shimla

Jakhu Ropeway Shimla is not very old like many temples and buildings in the city. It’s quite new. It opened for people in 2017. Before that, people could only walk or take taxis to Jakhu Temple. Walking up the hill was tiring because the path is steep. Many people felt breathless climbing up.

The ropeway was built to make it easy for people to go up the hill. It also helps tourists enjoy the view without getting tired. Now, even old people and small kids can go up without any trouble. It has made visiting Jakhu Temple much easier and more fun.
