Inner Line Permit (ILP): Generally, Indian citizens do not require an ILP to visit Lippa or other parts of Kinnaur. However, foreign nationals do need an ILP to visit certain areas in Kinnaur district due to its proximity to the Indo-Tibetan border. It's crucial for foreign tourists to obtain this permit from the District Magistrate's office in Shimla, Reckong Peo, or Kalpa before proceeding.
